In 2007 the Radio Control Aviation Club landed at the 20 Lakes Showgrounds. An airfield was constructed and groomed in the South East Corner of the Grounds. From there everything took off. In memory of Bill Beltz the group has continued to make small improvements. All of the model Aviation members are required to join the Academy of Model Aeronautics, an organization that provides liability insurance for those who operate model planes. When a member is flying one of their aircraft at the airfield they are required to post their membership card in full view, so the operating frequency is known by others. See an Aviation Model Member for a training lesson. Floyd Moore, Ray Borgula and Bill Bell have spent countless hours developing the operation of the Airfield. During the Show visit the Airfield and see how the models perform.
